Control-Alt-Kill Prototype
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Inspired by Brendan Keogh's talk at Freeplay 2018 about making 30 games in a year, this is a shmup prototype made in ~2 weeks. The intent of this project was to make a game that would delete itself (and only itself) as people play and in doing so, change how players interact with it.
Please keep in mind that I specifically set up the project to avoid important files, so don't worry about accidentally deleting the .EXE or anything (though you may want to periodically overwrite your build as you play).
While this prototype still has flaws and lacks the depth I'd like it to have, I'd say that it's worked out pretty well.
(In 2018 I'm challenging myself to make one videogame/prototype every 2-4 weeks just so that I can: A) develop my skills in a variety of areas, and B) have something to point to later).
Controls:

Press or hold the 'space bar' to shoot
Press the 'b' key to use a screen-clearing bomb.
